End of year goal reflection

A skill I wanted to adopt was to organize my time better, and the goal was to take tests to see that I hadn’t forgotten anything. I was able to achieve this ability because since the beginning of the year I decided to organize my time better, and if you go through my calendar, you’ll see that it’s much fuller than at the beginning of the year. This really helped me stay on track and stay on time for submitting assignments and preparing for ceremonies (on what day, month, and date). I was able to achieve my goal because I avoided dozens of mistakes that I knew I would make. It did take a few more minutes, but in the end, it justified the extra work. Thanks to this, I have better grades and can get into a better high school.

Innovation Day Reflection

INTRODUCTION

Our project was one of the most colorful, so ours stood out among all the gray projects, we talked and painted most of the parts on the board, so ours stood out, but not too much. Our prototype could open at the top, which meant we could show the judges how everything worked clearly and without complications. I knew we had impressed the judges because they asked questions and were impressed, all the judges were very nice, and when we were done, they were amazed. It was very difficult to fix everything with glue, because the parts barely touched each other. Luckily, our dad helped us and gave us some fasteners to fix the loose parts and I was nervous because some kid broke a part of our prototype, and then when I put the re-glued part on the bus, it broke again! Finally, we put an end to the story – we fixed the part with screws and irons, which made it stay very well. Last year we weren’t prepared: we didn’t have a speech, we didn’t have all the things on the board, we didn’t really speak English, and the board was almost empty. This year we overcame all those obstacles. Next time I’ll create more things like sports, because I saw that the judges were excited about it. I learned how to lead the judges in the direction I wanted, and basically navigate so that I could get a high score. I also learned that I’m good at presentations and videos, even though at first I didn’t think that would be one of the biggest parts of the project.

conclusion:

The post talks about my experience on Innovation Day, how to get a high score, and what not to do.

Goal Review – Mid year check in

My academic goal was achieved because I actually avoided dozens of small mistakes that could have hurt my grade. I succeeded because I made it a habit, and once it became a habit, it became doable. I used my perseverance and willpower to succeed and reach my goal, these have always been my strengths. Once I started doing something, I would put my best into it. This goal is important because my grade is important to me, and mistakes are paid for with a grade. I don’t want to make a mistake on something I know, or on an easy question that really only requires attention.
